The herbs and spices in this dry rub are those used in everyday dishes, but the blend and ratio of the different spices are the keys to this seasoning blend.

What To Season Chicken Breast With
SPICES:
Salt
Onion powder
Garlic powder
HERBS:
Dried oregano
Thyme
Dried rosemary
Parsley
Basil
HEAT:
Paprika - (If you want smokey flavor then use smoked paprika otherwise sweet paprika can be used)
Black pepper - preferably use freshly ground pepper or Cayenne pepper

How to Make It
Dry the utensils you'll be using to mix this chicken breast spice.
Measure out all the ingredients.

Add all the ingredients (paprika, cayenne pepper, thyme, oregano, parsley, thyme, garlic powder, and sugar (optional) in a bowl and mix them properly till they are well combined.

The seasoning blend is ready for use.
How To Store Seasoning
Put the seasoning in a spice jar or an airtight container (glass or plastic), label the container with the name of the seasoning, date made, and expiry date then store in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight.
Most spices have a long shelf life however be sure to check the expiry dates of the individual ingredients and use the earliest expiry date to determine the expiry date for your mix.

This dry rub is splendid! Put it together with some chicken breast for Frodo and his boys the other night and they were ravenous. Would definitely travel into Mordor for this!
