How To Make Chicken Thighs Marinade

Measure the ingredients.

Add all the ingredients- paprika, parsley, garlic powder, onion granules, oregano, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, olive oil, and black pepper into a bowl. 

Mix till well combined.

Make the marinade – Add the paprika, thyme, parsley, onion granules, brown sugar, black pepper, garlic powder, salt, soy sauce, lemon juice, and olive oil into a bowl. Mix till well combined.

Prep the chicken – Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels then add them into a bowl.

Marinate– Add the marinade to the chicken thighs and rub the marinade all over the chicken making sure that they are all coated in the marinade.

Cover the bowl with clingfilm, and put it in the fridge for the chicken thighs to marinate for 60 minutes up to 12 hours.

Bring out the chicken thighs and arrange them on a baking tray.

Bake – Put the tray in the oven and bake chicken thighs at a temperature of 200C/400F for 45 minutes.

You can broil for 3 minutes to crisp the top.

Serve– When cooked, bring them out of the oven, let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

How long to bake marinated chicken thighs is based on factors such as using bone in chicken thighs or boneless chicken thighs, the size of the thighs, and the temperature being cooked.

For How long to cook bone-in marinated chicken thighs in the oven is between 45-50 minutes at a temperature of 400F/ 200C.

How long to bake marinated boneless chicken thighs in the oven is between 25 – 30 minutes.

It’s best to check if the chicken is cooked by using a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of the chicken. If when the thermometer is inserted at the thickest part of the chicken it reads at least 165F/74C, then it is cooked.

How To Store

In the freezer – It will stay fresh for up to 6 months. Label with name and dates before freezing.
How To Reheat Marinated Chicken thighs in the oven– To reheat in the oven, arrange thighs on a baking tray and bake in the oven at a temperature of 180C for 5 minutes or till warmed through. 

To reheat in the Air Fryer – remove chicken from the packaging, then arrange them in the air fryer basket. Air fry for 4 minutes at air fryer temperature of 380F/190C. If chicken is not warmed through at this time, add an additional time of 2 minutes.

To reheat in the microwave, remove all packaging then put the thighs on a plate that is microwave safe. Warm on high power at 30 seconds intervals till it’s heated through.
