Ingredients
  

  • 3 pieces Chicken breasts
  • ½ tablespoon Paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon Onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • ¼ cup Flour
  • ¼ cup Buttermilk
  • Vegetable oil For frying

Deep Fried Chicken Breasts Recipe

  • Pat the chicken breast pieces dry with a paper towel. 
  • In a small bowl, add the flour, half of the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix together till well combined. 
  • In a separate bowl, add the buttermilk and the remaining half of the onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, paprika, and salt.
  • Dip each chicken breast in the buttermilk mix, then dip in the flour mix to get all the parts dredged in flour.
  • Place a chip pan or deep pot on a stove on medium heat. Add vegetable oil (enough to immerse the chicken) into the pot and heat.
    When it's heated to about 350F/175C, gently put the chicken breast pieces inside. Fry chicken until golden brown and cooked inside.
    You will know it's cooked when there is no pinkiness in the middle and when a thermometer inserted at the thickest part reads not less than 165F/74C.
  • Take out the fried chicken from the oil and put it on a plate.
    Rest it for 5 minutes before serving.

Fried Chicken Breast No Breading

  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with a kitchen towel. In a small bowl, mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt.
  • Add the seasoning to the chicken breasts and rub till well covered. Put a chip pan or deep pot on the stove.
  • Add oil into it to be at least 2 inches deep. Heat the oil on medium heat to a temperature of 350F.  
  • Add in the seasoned chicken breast and fry till it's golden brown and cooked inside.
