Air fryer chicken wings recipe that's easy, quick, delicious, and healthy. These dry rub chicken wings are crispy and crunchy on the outer side, tender and juicy on the inside. Learn how to make chicken wings in air fryer in simple steps.
Pat dry chicken wings with a kitchen towel as less moisture makes wings crispier.
Mix the paprika, thyme, oregano, baking powder, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a small bowl.
Add the mixture of dry rub ingredients to chicken wings and mix it properly with your hand to make sure that all wings are evenly coated with the dry rub. Once the wings are seasoned, you can cover the bowl and put it in the fridge for the chicken to marinate for a few hours or you can go ahead to cooking immediately.
Arrange the chicken wings in the air fryer basket in one layer. Don’t overlap them and do not overcrowd them in the air fryer basket. You can cook wings in batches if you have a small air fryer and they don't fit at a go.Air fry chicken wings for 12 minutes at a temperature of 190C/380°F.
After this time, open the fryer and flip the wings then air fry for another 12 minutes at 190C or till the wings are cooked and golden brown. (Note: the time of cooking vary according to the size of wings).
When the wings are cooked, remove them from the air fryer.You can toss in sauces like Peri Peri sauce, buffalo sauce, bbq sauce, and more.
