The best marinated chicken thighs recipe! Bone in or boneless chicken thighs are soaked in a simple chicken thighs marinade then baked to perfection. The baked marinated chicken thighs are tender, juicy, and packed full of flavor.
Add the paprika, thyme, parsley, onion granules, brown sugar, black pepper, garlic powder, salt, soy sauce, lemon juice, and olive oil into a bowl. Mix till well combined.
Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels then add them into a bowl.
Add the marinade to the chicken thighs and rub the marinade all over the chicken making sure that they are all coated in the marinade. Cover the bowl with clingfilm, and put it in the fridge for the chicken thighs to marinate for 60 minutes up to 12 hours.
Bring out the chicken thighs and arrange them on a baking tray.Put the tray in the oven and bakechicken thighs at a temperature of 200C/400F for 45 minutes or untill cooked.
You can broil for 3 minutes to crisp the top.
When cooked, bring them out of the oven, let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Tips
Don't marinate for too long. It's best to marinate chicken thighs for up to 8 hours but not more than 24 hours.
Adjust pepper quantity to how you like it.
Substitute cayenne pepper for black pepper.
Sugar can be substituted for honey.
You can arrange the chicken on oven rack if you don't like them baking in the juice.
Don't overlap the chicken in the baking tray. Arrange them in a single layer.
After baking, let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before cutting into them. This allows the juice inside to redistribute.
Chicken should be cooked to an internal temperature of at least 165F/75C.
