Ingredients
  

  • 4 Chicken leg quarters
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon Parsley
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1.5 tablespoon Olive oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Here's how to air fry chicken leg quarters in air fryer:
    Use a paper towel to pat the chicken quarters dry to remove excess moisture. 
  • In a bowl, add the paprika, parsley, garlic powder, black pepper, onion powder, lemon juice, olive oil, and salt in a bowl. Mix till well combined.
  • Apply the seasoning on the chicken quarters making sure all parts are covered in the seasoning mix.
    Cover and put the chicken quarters in the fridge to marinate for 60 minutes.
  • Arrange the chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
    Set the air fryer to 190C/380F and air fry chicken quarters at a temperature of 190C/380F for 12 minutes.
    After 12 minutes, use a tong to flip the leg quarters and air fry at 380F/190C for another 12 minutes or till they are cooked tender, and skin crispy.
  • Bring out the chicken, rest it for 5 minutes then serve.

Notes

Tips
  • Adjust pepper and salt to suit your personal taste.
  • You can season the leg quarters with other seasonings like cajun, lemon pepper, jerk seasoning, etc.
  • If you have time to spare before cooking it, after seasoning the leg quarters, you can put it in the fridge to marinate for an hour or more.
  • To make cleaning the air fryer easier, you can line the basket with parchment paper designed for AF (perforated).
  • Don't forget to flip the chicken halfway into cooking so that the sides are equally crisp.
  • Let the chicken rest for 3-5 minutes after cooking to redistribute the juices.
