Ingredients
  

  • 6 pieces Chicken thighs
  • 1 teaspoon Parsley
  • ½ tablespoon Paprika
  • ½ teaspoon Garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon Black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon Thyme
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Use a paper towel to pat the chicken thighs dry. This is to remove excess moisture from them.
  • Add the paprika, oregano, thyme, parsley, black pepper, garlic powder, soy sauce, lemon juice, olive oil, and salt in a small bowl. Mix till well combined.
  • Add the marinade to the chicken thighs and rub it in to make sure that all parts of the chicken are coated in the marinade. 
    Cover the chicken and put it in the fridge to marinate for 1- 4 hours. You can marinate it overnight but it should not exceed 48 hours.
  • Arrange the marinated chicken thighs in the air fryer basket in a single layer. 
    Don’t overlap them and don't overcrowd the air fryer basket.
  • Put the air fryer on and air fry chicken thighs at a temperature of 380F/190C for 15 minutes then after the 15 minutes, flip the chicken thighs over with a tong then air fryer for another 15 minutes.
  • When the chicken thighs are cooked, remove them from the air fryer.
    Serve and enjoy.

Notes

  • Marinate the chicken for at least one hour up to 12 hours so it gets the full benefit of the marinade. 
  • If you don't have time to leave it to marinate, you can cook it immediately.
  • Discard used marinade. Don't reuse it. 
  • You can substitute black pepper for cayenne pepper or any other ground pepper.
  • You can use other good marinades like lemon pepper, peri peri, buffalo, etc.
  • Don't overlap the chicken, arrange in a single layer. Cook in batches if it doesn't fit all at once.
  • Air fryer brands vary with their temperature settings, so you might have to adjust the temperature of your air fryer and it might also require you to cook for a lesser time or for longer. I advise you to check for doneness after 22 minutes.
