Ingredients
  

  • 3 tablespoons Paprika
  • 1 tablespoon Dried Oregano
  • 1 tablespoon Dried Parsley
  • 1 tablespoon Dried Thyme
  • ½ tablespoon Garlic powder
  • ½ tablespoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper or Cayenne pepper or to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Brown Sugar Optional

Instructions
 

  • Dry the utensils you'll be using to mix this chicken breast spice.
  • Measure out all the ingredients.
  • Add all the ingredients (paprika, cayenne pepper, thyme, oregano, parsley, thyme, garlic powder, and sugar (optional) in a bowl and mix them properly till they are well combined.
  • The seasoning blend is ready for use.

Notes

  • It is said that spices can be used forever but it is also true that after a specific time they lose their flavor and aroma. As this recipe is easy and quick, make the spice blend in small batches.
  • To keep seasoning and dry rub fresh for a long time, store them in a dry, cool, and dark place away from sunlight.
  • Make sure that the bowls you use to make and store seasoning are properly dry because moisture can make the seasoning mouldy and go bad making it lose taste, flavor, and color.
  • Use finely ground black pepper where possible as the texture of black pepper has a huge impact and role in recipe flavor and look.
  • Avoid exposing seasoning to moisture as you need to keep it dry in storage so avoid pouring from spice container directly over a steaming pot.
  • Remember to label the seasoning container with the date of preparation and expiry date. Use all seasoning before the expiry date.
